A celebration of one of the last patches of forest left in Maputo city. Apparently this forest was deliberately planted here about 50 years ago. Kudos to the person of vision who left this legacy.

Magnificent "Khaya"
The timber of Khaya is called African mahogany, the only timber widely accepted as Mahogany besides that of the true mahogany, of the genus Swietenia.
